According to one of the latest Battlelog updates and confirmed by various sites, Battlefield 3 will have massive amount of unlockable content. Allegedly, this entry in the series will have up to 10 times as many unlocks as the ones features in Battlefield: Bad Company 2. These items will include weapons, weapon attachments, awards, gadgets, service stars and vehicle bonuses. DICE claims that this content will allow players to “have as much fun with the game in 2013 as on launch day.”
Recently, Electronic Arts announced that Battlefield 3’s preorders have also surpassed its predecessor (Bad Company 2) for about 10 times as much.
Battlefield 3 will be out on October 25, 2011 on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Additionally, it has been confirmed that a Steam digital release won’t be arriving, and those people who buy a used version of the game will be charged extra to access the game’s various multiplayer modes.
