Though Modern Warfare 3 is just a few months away, Black Ops is still a really solid title and DLC is constantly being released for it. Activision recently announced that they are expecting to release the Resurrection DLC pack before September 30 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC.
According to the company, the add-on will be released on August 23 on Xbox Live for $15 (1200 Microsoft Points) and it’ll include five levels for the Zombie mode, 20 songs for the “Zombie soundtrack,” and a Moon theme. The first four maps (Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, and Der Riese) are remakes of content taken from Call of Duty: World at War, which was the first game in the series to introduce zombies. The fifth map, called Moon, will be completely new and it’ll allow players to have an outer space experience, as they will be able to kill zombies on the Moon.
The first four maps won’t be totally new, as these were first featured in the Hardened and Prestige edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops. Owners of this iteration can download the “Resurrection pack” (also known as Rezurrection) for free on August 23 in order to get the new Moon map, the theme and the soundtrack.
