Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection Coming Next Week

Fortunately for all fighting game fans various companies have decided to update and release downloadable versions with online capabilities of all your favorite games. That’s the case of Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition and Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection (it should have been arkade… just saying.) Warner Bros. Interactive will be in charge of releasing this collection for the PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC worldwide on August 31.

According to Gamespot this updated collection will feature arcade-perfect ports of Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II and Mortal Kombat III. It should be taken into account that some of these ports have already been released before for both the PS3 and Xbox 360, but now you have the opportunity of buying all of them on the same package.

Additionally, each game includes online multiplayer support, achievements or trophies (depending on the version) and leaderbords for all three games. The collection will cost $10 (800 Microsoft points), which seems like a pretty good deal. Finally, PS3 owners will be able to download this package on August 30, but players on other platforms will have to wait one more day to get it.
