Although there were some interesting news about Nintendo games last night at the special event the company held in Japan, Nintendo of America has officially stated the release dates of some of their upcoming and highly anticipated titles.
Super Mario 3D Land will be available on November 13. Then, Mario Kart will launch on December 4 (I hope they change the name of the game by then …) Additionally, Nintendo has announced that The Legend of Zelda: The Four Swords Anniversary Edition, which will be free for Nintendo DSi, DSi XL and 3DS owners, will be available as a download from September 28 and will remain there through February 20, 2012. The title was officially announced at the company’s press conference during E3, it’ll support four-player Wi-Fi multiplayer and will feature new content and an improved single-player mode.
Other games that’ll be coming out soon are: Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games for the Wii and 3DS (November 15,) Fortune Street for the DS (December 5,) and Kid Icarus, Paper Mario, Luigi’s Mansion, Mario Tennis and Animal Crossing will all be coming for the 3DS on 2012. Moreover, an upcoming 3DS update will allow users to record 3D movies, will add more content for Street Pass Mii Plaza and will come out this November.
