If there’s One Thing Final Fantasy VII Doesn’t Need Is Achievements

Final Fantasy VII Cait Sith If theres One Thing Final Fantasy VII Doesnt Need Is Achievements

Taking into account that Final Fantasy VII was a game that didn’t take itself too seriously at times, the fact that the PC re-release (not to be confused with the long-awaited remake) was going to implement achievements seemed like the perfect opportunity to do something amusingly bizarre with them. I was expecting something like: “Cloud has successfully cross-dressed, here’s an achievement!” Sadly, the developers decided to play it safe and included some really dull and uninventive achievements that range from winning your first battle to using Cloud’s first Limit Break. I guess this game isn’t the best one for bragging…

Note that the re-released PC version of Final Fantasy VII is currently available for $9.99 on Square Enix’s online store.
