Silent Hill HD Collection Patched on PS3, But Not on Xbox 360 Due to Technical Issues

When the Silent Hill HD Collection came out back in March, the compilation had some serious bugs that definitely hurt the experience players were having with it. These problems were related to the game’s frame rate and bad audio-synching, among other issues. Back then, Konami promised a patch for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the title, but while the PS3 patch is already out, the company has stated that they have no plans of releasing the Xbox 360 one.

Konami said in an official statement that they have cancelled Xbox 360 patch due to “technical issues and resources.” The company has also confirmed that they will continue to sell the Xbox 360 version of the game, even when they won’t put out the promised update.
