Players who are looking forward to playing Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition will have to wait a little longer, since the remake has been delayed. The official announcement can be read in the Baldur’s Gate forums where Overhaul Games president Trent Oster stated that the response from fans has been so overwhelming that the game’s release date has been pushed from September 18th to November 30th.

According to Oster, the support from the fans has helped the team improve the gameplay, fix bugs and “work on translations from English to 16 other languages.” Due to this delay, Oster promises something extra for those who have already pre-ordered a copy of the game. A while ago, an update stated that the PC version of Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition was originally going to launch on the PC and the iPad and OSX versions were coming later that same month.
