To be clear, the game’s full name is “Dudebro: My Name Is Fucked Up So I Got to Shoot/Slice You II: It’s Straight-Up Dawg Time” and some of you may know it for being developed by NeoGAF members. This team went on to create a studio called Grimoire Assembly Forge (…it seems like these guys have a knack for naming things) and they have been developing Dudebro 2 for quite some time now. It’s worth noting that contrary to what its name suggests Dudebro 2 isn’t a sequel to an already established franchise.
Dudebro 2 started as a top-down polygonal shooter, but later on became a side-scrolling run-and-gun Metal Slug-like game which intends to parody modern shooters. If the trailer is any indication of the game’s humor, it seems like Dudebro 2 will be quite funny. Interestingly, the trailer even features Jon St. John, the voice actor of Duke Nukem.
