Obsidian Entertainment’s Project Eternity Surpasses $2 Million

When they launched Project Eternity, Obsidian Entertainment was asking for at least $1.1 million, but the Kickstarter project has recently surpassed $2 million. The project still has 15 days to raise more money and there are a few stretch goals to take into account (new regions, factions and game modes.) One of the most inviting ones is probably the inclusion of French, German and Spanish text translations in case the project manages to reach the $2.2 million. Additionally, if the project manages to surpass $2.3 million more goals will be added.

Regarding Project Eternity, the isometric, party-based PC role-playing game is supposed to come out in spring 2014 and it’s in very good hands. Obsidian Entertainment was behind popular games such as Neverwinter Nights 2, Alpha Protocol, Fallout: New Vegas and Dungeon Siege III, among others. The independent developer is currently working on South Park: The Stick of Truth, which is supposed to come out in March 2013.
