Sega’s AM2 Fighting Games Hit XBLA and PSN Next Week

Sonic the Fighters

A recent post on Sega’s official blog states that Fighting Vipers, Sonic Fighters and Virtua Fighter 2 are all coming to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network next week. For those unfamiliar, these are three classic titles made by Sega’s AM2 Team and in a few days, they will all be available in digital form. Additionally, the upcoming games will feature achievements and trophies as well as online multiplayer support.

The three games are expected to come out on PSN on November 27th in North America for $4.99 each and on XBLA for 400 Microsoft Points. Europeans, on the other hand, will get the PlayStation Network version of the aforementioned titles on December 5th for €4.49.

This seems like the perfect opportunity for those who missed these classic fighting titles back in the day (myself included.) Have you played any of them? If so, which one would you recommend? As usual, fell free to share ideas and recommendations in the comments down below!
