Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas “The Introduction” Now Available for Everyone to Watch

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas came out eight years ago for the PlayStation 2 and earlier this month, the sandbox action title was released as a PlayStation 2 Classic for the PlayStation 3. Those who played the game back in the day and would like to catch up with the story should definitely watch “The Introduction” a 20-minute video that was originally included with the game’s official soundtrack. This week, Rockstar made the video available on their Social Club and YouTube for everyone to watch.

“The Introduction” has been created with the San Andreas engine and details how the events of Vice City led to the events of San Andreas. The way in which Rockstar had linked games before was through the Stories portable series (GTA: Liberty City Stories and GTA: Vice City Stories) and since GTA: San Andreas Stories never happened, “The Introduction” is the only way to see the relationship between Vice City and San Andreas. Still, GTA: San Andreas Stories sounds like it could have been an amazing project and one that I’d be more than interested in playing if it actually existed…
