Original Tomb Raider Series Now Available on Steam

Tomb Raider (Steam)

Up until now, fans of the Tomb Raider series who use Steam only had access to half of the collection. Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Tomb Raider: Legend, Tomb Raider: Underworld and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Life were the only titles available on the popular digital distribution service, so those looking to play the original titles were forced to get them on GOG.com or on the PlayStation Network. Thankfully, that is about to change…

Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider 2, Tomb Raider 3, Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles and Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness are all available on Steam for $9.99 each. Making the original hexalogy (yep, that is a word that exists) available on the service is great, especially now that a new Tomb Raider is about to come out. A lot of people aren’t familiar with Lara Croft’s humble beginnings and this is the perfect way to catch up with the franchise.

To be completely honest I’ve never played any of the PlayStation-era Tomb Raider titles, but I’m still extremely interested in them. Would you be playing any of them? How well do you think they hold up? Share ideas in the comments below.
