This past Friday, during the “World of Capcom” event at PAX East, Capcom announced DuckTales Remastered, a high-definition remake of the 1989 DuckTales for the NES. The game, which is being developed by WayForward Technologies, is expected to come out sometime this summer on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and Wii U eShop for $14.99.
More Recently, Capcom confirmed that the remake will feature all the voice actors from the TV show. Additionally, there will be a new tutorial level and a mode titled McDuck’s Museum (read: online leaderboards.)
Most of those who had the chance to play the original DuckTales back in the day have fond memories about the NES sidescroller. Personally, I’ve never played the game, so I don’t know what all the fuss is about. Would you mind telling me what makes DuckTales such a classic platformer?
