PC Version of Final Fantasy VII Finally Comes Out in Japan

Unsurprisingly, the PC port of Final Fantasy VII was never released in Japan probably because the PC market in that particular territory has never been very popular. But in a surprising turn of events, Square Enix finally decided to release the PC version of Final Fantasy VII International in Japan.

Copies of the game will be available digitally “soon.” Nevertheless, the fact that this version of the critically acclaimed RPG is coming out digitally means that Japanese players will be missing one of the title’s most iconic elements: it’s trapezoidal packaging.
