Act II of Kentucky Route Zero has been delayed until May, according to a monthly newsletter by developer Cardboard Computer. The second part of the stylish point-and-click adventure was supposed to come out sometime this April, but a couple of unforeseen events “took up a lot of our time in the last few months” the developers said.
Although no precise release date has been specified, Act II should be coming out sometime this mid-May. Additionally, the team will be posting a new “small/weird screenshot from Act II” on both Facebook and Twitter to tease the upcoming chapter in the stylish series.
For the uninitiated, Kentucky Route Zero is an episodic point-and-click adventure that eschews some of the genre’s most traditional elements, including inventory, voice acting and complex objectives. Instead, the adventure focuses on atmosphere and style, creating a unique experience that’s hard to forget.
