The Ubisoft press conference is now over and a handful of new titles were announced. Although I wasn’t expecting some of those titles, overall, I would say that this was a paint-by-numbers presentation.
For many, Rocksmith represented a nice learning tool. The title allowed players to be engaged in simple minigames, but instead of using a plastic controller, they used an electric guitar. This new entry in the series is called Rocksmith 2014 Edition.
The game was presented by Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist
A new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist was shown.
Rayman Legends sounds like a game I’d play. But when the trailer that was shown during the presentation finished, I realized that a PC version hasn’t been announced yet. Fingers crossed.
The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot
This is a free-to-play, multiplayer dungeon crawler with a weird sense of humor.
South Park: The Stick of Truth
Coming this Holiday season.
A multiplayer-oriented, open-world racing game from the studio behind Driver: San Francisco. The game is coming early 2014 to Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Live demo was shown. Features include: asynchronous multiplayer, cooperative missions and deep levels of customization.
The trailer that leaked a few hours ago was shown.
Just Dance 2014
Something called “One Direction” is in this game. Not for me, man. Not for me…
Interestingly, this is a TV show that’s coming soon to Nickelodeon. This was pitched as “a TV show you can play!” The future is here! And I couldn’t care less about it.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
New trailer and in-game footage was shown.
Trials Fusion & Trials Frontier
Trials Fusion is coming to next-gen consoles (Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PC) and Trials Frontier is coming to mobile.
Tom Clancy’s The Division
From Massive Entertainment, The Division is an online open-world RPG. The game’s coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
