A while ago, UK-based developer Hello Games announced that Joe Danger and Joe Danger 2: The Movie were coming to Steam, but a proper release date wasn’t confirmed at the time. Now we know that the games are coming to Steam on Monday, June 24th (that’s today!)
The Steam version of the games features Big Picture Mode, Steam Workshops, ghost records and mouse and keyboard controls. Additionally, Joe Danger will include the entire cast of characters from Team Fortress 2 and Minecraft environments.
Originally released in 2010 on PSN, Joe Danger is a stunt racer that puts you in the shoes of a daredevil called Joe. Its sequel, Joe Danger 2: The Movie, debuted in 2012 on PSN and XBLA. But while the game follows the same premise, Joe Danger 2 features more content than its predecessor, including new vehicles and settings.
Although Joe Danger and Joe Danger 2: The Movie come out later today on Steam, a price hasn’t been confirmed yet. So I guess we’ll have to wait a few more hours to know how much it’ll cost us to play as daredevil Joe.
