Side-scrolling platformer/roguelike Rogue Legacy is coming to PlayStation 3, 4 and Vita, developer Cellar Door Games has revealed via the PlayStation Blog. During its Gamescom presentation, Sony announced that the indie game was coming to the PlayStation 4 and Vita, but a PlayStation 3 port wasn’t mentioned at the time.
According to the developer, “Rogue Legacy had only been out for about 2 weeks before we were contacted by Sony, so we’re blown away by how fast they reached out to us.”
Personally, I’m surprised to see that Sony platforms are becoming one of the best ways to experience indie titles (along with the PC, of course.) If the company is able to keep this up during the upcoming generation, transitioning between PC to PS4 shouldn’t be hard at all.
