Portal Goes Portable: This Is What Aperture Science Looks Like on the DS

Would you like to play Portal on a portable console? If that’s the case, GBA-Temp forum members Smealum and Lobo have you covered. They have been working on Aperture Science, a homebrew project that let’s you play Valve’s Portal on the Nintendo DS. The video above shows the test chamber and while the graphics might seem a little pixelated, Portal’s basic mechanics are all there.

The team behind Aperture Science is aware that the build is “buggy and incomplete,” but taking into account that the game is not only playable, but also includes 14 stages and a level editor, it’s hard to complain. A playable build of the game is available on this site, but note that you need a flash cart to play it.
