Broken Sword: The Serpent’s Curse, the fifth entry in the Broken Sword series, received a release date. The adventure game will be released as two separate episodes, the first of which is coming on December 4th and the second in January, 2014, developer Revolution Software has announced.
The game will launch worldwide for PC, Mac and Linux on Steam, GOG and Revolution Software’s store. So what about all the other versions? The PlayStation Vita version launches in December and the iOS and Android version soon after the PC version has launched.
Apart from the release dates, prices have also been revealed for those people who didn’t contribute to the Kickstarter campaign. Each episode will be released for $14.99 or alternatively, you can purchase both titles for $24.99. Another possibility is pre-ordering the game, in which case you get both episodes for $19.99. Please take into account that these prices correspond to the PC version of the game.
Broken Sword: The Serpent’s Curse was a successful Kickstarter campaign that ended a year ago. The team behind the game were looking forward to getting $400,000, but they received over $700,000 instead.
Finally, if you can’t wait for the game to come out, three new screenshots have been revealed.
