Both Joe Danger and Joe Danger 2: The Movie are coming to Mac and Linux, developer Hello Games has confirmed via a blog post. It’s worth pointing out that both platforms will be added to the Steam version of the game and Linux support means that Joe Danger and Joe Danger 2: The Movie will be compatible with Steam OS.
The Mac and Linux versions of the games will include the same features the PC version has, including enhanced graphics, leaderboards, ghost replays and the possibility of sharing levels via Steam Workshop. In addition, Joe Danger 2: The Movie includes characters from Team Fortress 2 and levels from Minecraft.
Joe Danger is a side-scrolling racing game where you play as a daredevil called Joe Danger. The main objective is to make it to time-limited courses and complete several objectives to unlock additional rounds. Joe Danger 2: The Movie is set in Hollywood and most of the action scenes are based on cliches.
Hello Games is working on a PlayStation Vita versions of Joe Danger and Joe Danger 2: The Movie. The ports are expected to come out sometime next year.
