Mark Ecko’s Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure, the 2006 game that focuses on amateur graffiti artist Trane as he protests against a tyrannical society using graffiti and tagging, is now available on Steam. Although originally published by Atari, the recently released digital version became possible thanks to the publisher of Hotline Miami, Devolver Digital.
The story of the game is set in New Radium Slums, where a man named Trane decides to become a graffiti artist. Soon enough, Trane finds himself escaping from the government’s task force which has orders to shoot graffiti taggers. When it came out, Mark Ecko’s Getting Up received average reviews, but over the years, the game has gained a cult following.
Mark Ecko’s Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure is now available on Steam for $7.49. Take into account that this is a special promotion that ends on December 19th and after that date, the game will go back to its usual price of $14.99.
