As a way of celebrating the success of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Nintendo has announced on Twitter that The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition will be available on the eShop as a free download for four days only (from Thursday, January 30th until Sunday, February 2nd.)

For those of you who have never had a chance to play the game, Four Swords is a short multiplayer adventure that was originally released with the Game Boy Advance version of A Link to the Past. In the multiplayer game, Link uses the Four Sword to create three copies of himself and rescue princess Zelda from wind mage Vaati. The Anniversary Edition comes with new levels located in the Realm of Memories and Hero’s Trial.

Apart from the freebie, Nintendo has announced that The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is now available on the eShop for Wii U.
