Far Cry Classic will be available as a downloadable title in the United States, publisher Ubisoft has announced. The first-person shooter will be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 11th and downloading it will cost you $9.99.
In Far Cry, you play as a ship captain named Jack Carver who’s stranded on a South Pacific tropical island. His mission involves locating and rescuing a female journalist who has been captured by mercenaries. The landscape includes a variety of regions, including beaches, forests, canyons, swamps, mines and more.
When the original Far Cry came out in 2004, the first-person shooter was praised for its detailed visuals, immersive audio, variety of regions to explore, solid gameplay and the terrific artificial intelligence of enemies.
