Two-dimensional side-scroller Bloodrayne Betrayal is coming to Steam on April 30th, a page on Valve’s digital distribution service confirms. Although previous games in the series were three-dimensional hack-and-slash, Betrayal shares more similarities with Metroidvania titles.
In the 2011 game, players assume the role of femme fatale Rayne as she uses her superhuman abilities to hunt down vampires. In terms of content there are 15 levels, new characters, environmental puzzles, new mechanics and new enemies and bosses. Furthermore, the Steam version of the game features achievements, trading cards, full controller support and cloud support.
