Halo 5: Guardians, the next installment in the popular series of first-person shooters, is coming to Xbox One in 2015, developer 343 Industries confirmed on the Xbox official blog. Unsurprisingly, there aren’t too many details about the game yet (E3 is just around the corner, after all,) but so far we know that Halo 5 will run at 60 frames per second, will have dedicated servers, will feature a brand-new graphics engine and will launch for the Xbox One console in 2015.
Apart from the game, there will be a television series that will relate to the game. Steven Spielberg is involved in the project and the series will serve as both a stand alone experience, but will be related to the game somehow.
More details about Halo 5: Guardians will be revealed at the Xbox E3 2014 Media Briefing on June 9th (the briefing will take place at 9:30AM PDT.) In the meantime, if you want more information about Halo 5: Guardians, visit the Xbox official blog.
