Wasteland 2 has been delayed to early September due to the delivery of physical goods and discs, developer inXile Entertanment has announced. The game was funded through Kickstarter where it received almost $3 million in pledges from more than 60,000 backers, so sending all those discs must take a lot of time. The company hasn’t announced the specific release date yet, but they should be revealing it soon.
If you can’t wait until September to play Wasteland 2 though, inXile announced that the last version of the beta is available. The beta comes with a new mini-map, improved loading times, better UI, more visual effects and a general gameplay rebalance. If you want to try this version of the game, you can get it on Steam as an Early Access title.
