Slender: The Arrival Sneaks Up on Consoles on September 23rd

Slender: The Arrival, the first-person survival horror game based on the internet persona known as the Slender Man, is coming to consoles on September 23rd for the PS3 and September 24th for the Xbox 360, developer Blue Isle Studios has announced. The upcoming release of The Arrival, which costs $9.99, will feature all the extra content from the PC version at no additional cost.

For the uninitiated, The Arrival puts you in the shoes of a girl called Lauren who visits her friend’s house after she goes missing. But there’s a problem, you’re armed only with a flashlight and there are different enemies lurking in the shadows.

I reviewed Slender: The Arrival when it came out for the PC and I this is what I had to say about the game “Despite its brevity and some questionable design decisions, Slender: The Arrival is a strong horror game that no fan of the genre should miss.” The game does have some problems, but if you’re a fan of survival horror games, you owe it to yourself to at least check it out.
