If you can’t get enough Minecraft and you want to play the creative sandbox game on yet another platform, you’re in luck, since the PlayStation Vita version of Minecraft comes out today on PSN for $19.99. The retail version of the game, on the other hand, will be available on November 11th for the same price.
Does this version of Minecraft have something different? The most prominent feature is that Minecraft PS Vita Edition has dual analog controls. Interestingly, the game also has the ability to transfer worlds from and to the PS3 version.
If you already own Minecraft on the PS3, you don’t have to buy it again for the Vita, since the game comes with Cross-Buy. Here’s what you should know:
- Minecraft for the PS3 and Vita is available on PSN for $19.99. Upgrading to the PS4 version costs $4.99.
- The retail version comes out on November 11th and comes with a downloadable code. You can play the game on both the PS3 and Vita and you can upgrade to the PS4 version for $4.99.
- The PS4 Edition isn’t compatible with the PS3 or the Vita versions of Minecraft.
