Skulls of the Shogun Rises from the Grave, Ends Up in the OUYA

Turn-based strategy game Skulls of the Shogun is coming to the OUYA micro-console on October 28th, a recent press release announced. According to the trailer embedded above, the OUYA version features the single-player, multiplayer campaigns and all the content from the Bone-A-Fide Edition and will be available for $9.99.

For those who haven’t had a chance to check out 17-BIT’s turn-based strategy game, Skulls of the Shogun is inspired by Advanced Wars and features undead samurai. The game’s also available for the PC, Windows Phone, Xbox 360, Android, iOS, Linux, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Mac.

I reviewed the Steam version (which is called Bone-A-Fide Edition) and loved it. In my 5-star review, this is what I had to say about Skulls of the Shogun: “Not only does Skulls of the Shogun: Bone-A-Fide Edition prove that the turn-based strategy genre is alive and kicking, but it does so in a stylish and grin-inducing manner.”
