Tales from the Borderlands Gets New Trailer, Launch Platforms Announced

Developer Telltale Games revealed some details about upcoming point-and-click adventure game Tales from the Borderlands in a recent press release. First, the company released a new trailer that shows the game in motion and features some of the characters you’ll be playing as (Rhys and Fiona.) Second, while we don’t know the release date of the episode, we do know that “Zero Sum” is coming to PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC and Mac. iOS and Android versions are expected to come out at a later date.

Telltale also revealed the pricing structure for the first season. On PSN, the first episode costs $4.99, and you can get a Season Pass for $19.99. On Xbox Live, the first episode costs $4.99 and the Season Pass upgrade (which grants you access to episodes 2 – 5 as they come out) costs $14.99. The PC and Mac versions cost $24.99 for the Season Pass and it’ll be available on Steam and the Telltale Store.

For those who played other games in the Borderlands series, the five-part episodic game is set after the events of Borderlands 2. The company also shared casting details and you might recognize some of the voice actors from other popular games. Tales from the Borderlands’ first season features Troy Baker as Rhys, Laura Bailey as Fiona, Chris Hardwick as Vaughn, Erin Yvette as Sasha, Patrick Warburton as Vasquez, and Dameon Clarke as Handsome Jack.
