Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation is now available for iOS and Android devices, Square Enix has announced. Originally released as an 8-bit title for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1988, the role-playing game saw a couple of re-releases, including an enhanced remake for the SNES in 1996 and the Game Boy Color in 2001.
Dragon Quest III’s story doesn’t follow the narrative from the previous games and for the first time in the series, you could create a custom party of characters that had different jobs. Other improvements include an expanded open world, non-linear gameplay, day-night cycle and a class-changing system.
Dragon Quest III is available for $9.99 and if you want to catch up with other games from the series, you’ll be glad to know that Dragon Quest, Dragon Quest II, Dragon Quest IV and Dragon Quest VIII are also available for iOS and Android.
