The Xbox One will be the first console to have Sling TV, a recently announced television service that tries to offer something for everybody. The service costs $20 per month and offers the following channels: ESPN, ESPN 2, TNT, TBS, Food Network, HGTV, Cartoon Network, and Disney Channel. For that amount of money, you can watch the aforementioned channels on your TV, tablet, smartphone or console and you can cancel the service at any time.
Xbox One owners will be able to try the service free of charge for one month at launch. There’s not much to say about Sling TV, since it has just been announced, but if you want a cheap way to watch sports, movies, news and video on demand content, the service seems like a great fit for you.
