Xbox 360 Port of Virtua Fighter 2 Now Playable on Xbox One

The Xbox 360 port of 3D fighting game Virtua Fighter 2 is now playable on the Xbox One, since the title was added to the backwards compatibility list. Originally released in the arcades and then ported to the Sega Saturn, the Xbox 360 version of the game features upgraded graphics, as well as the possibility of playing online. Over the years, Virtua Fighter 2 has seen many re-releases on platforms such as the Sega Genesis, PlayStation 2, PC, Wii Virtual Console and iOS, among others.

Other fighting games that are part of the Xbox One backwards compatibility list include Super Street Fighter IV, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Skullgirls, Virtua Fighter V: Final Showdown and Soulcalibur V. We’ll see what’s the next addition to the list.
