I’ve finally played Sissy’s Magical Ponycorn Adventure and I couldn’t help but to say “Awww!” every once in a while, and I never do that. This short indie game was made by Cassie, a five-year-old girl, and his dad Ryan Creighton for TOJam a Toronto independent game competition. In fact, all the art, titles and even the voice for the main character were actually made by her. But wait, it gets cuter! The main objective of the flash game is to capture five Ponycorns (the combination of a Pony and a Unicorn) in jars so you can save them from evil creatures. This game has magic, tigers, coconuts and more. But remember one thing: lemons are evil. Come on! Even little girls know that.
Finally, it’s worth pointing out that the website has a PayPal donate button and all the money goes to Cassie’s college fund. For more information about how this adorable graphic adventure got made, read this blog post written by Ryan Creighton. For those interested in playing the actual game, visit its official website.
