The Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection was recently announced for Europe, but it appears like the high-definition versions of Dragon Ball Budokai and Dragon Ball Budokai 3 will also be released in North America this winter. The collection is coming out for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 12th in Europe and October 9th in North America and even though a price has yet to be announced, it’s expected to be around $40.
The titles originally came out for the PlayStation 2 on 2002 and 2004 respectively. As usual in this type of remastered editions, Budokai HD Collection will have improved visuals and trophies and achievements support. Interestingly, the second iteration in the series won’t be included in the package, but taking into account that the Budokai 3 is usually regarded as the best game in the DBZ franchise, I guess most fans won’t miss Budokai 2. In addition, you can expect to pull off devastating attacks such as a Kamehameha and… Whatever, as long as you can do a Kamehameha I don’t see a lot of people complaining.
