Sidescrolling survivor horror game Deadlight will no longer be an Xbox Live Arcade exclusive, since the title is about to receive a PC release. Although the game was originally released as part of this year’s summer of arcade, developer Tequila Works has announced that Deadlight is coming to Steam on October 25th. Additionally, the developer promised that the PC version will sport better graphics, a new “Nightmare” mode and the game’s complete soundtrack.
No price has been announced as of this writing, but taking into account that the XBLA version was available for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15,) we’d expect the same on Steam.
Set in Seattle in 1986, Deadlight follows the story of Randall Wayne, a survivor of an event in which the outbreak of a virus is reanimating the dead. As a consequence, Randall has to face hordes of flesh-eating zombies that populate the ruined city.
