Bastion is now playable on a slew of additional devices since the critically acclaimed indie gem has become an iOS universal app. Basically, this means that Bastion is now playable on iPads 2-4, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S and the 5th generation of iPod Touch.
Developer Supergiant has announced this through their website, revealing that the game is now optimized for iPhone 5’s retina display and has iCloud support (to transfer save data.) Bastion’s 1.1 iPad update is available for free for those who already own the app. The game itself, on the other hand, is available on the App Store for $4.99.
On a more personal note, I feel really bad that I haven’t found the time to play Bastion yet. A review copy of the action role-playing game is still on my Steam account, but for multiple reasons I haven’t been able to play it. I hope this isn’t one of those titles that make it to this year’s updated version of my pile of shame…
