PSN Hosting a Massive Sale on Final Fantasy Games, So Long PSN Cards

Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary (PSN)

Do you remember that a few weeks ago Square Enix discounted most Final Fantasy titles on the European PSN? Do you remember that I told you to buy many PSN cards because that sale was coming to America? In celebration of the series’ 25th anniversary, Square Enix is putting almost every single Final Fantasy game from the PS One and PSP era on sale. Basically, this means that all the PSN cards that I’ve been saving will finally be put to use.

When the PlayStation Store updates later today, these will be the titles that you will be able to purchase at 50% off:

  • DISSIDIA 012[duodecim] FINAL FANTASY (PSP)
  • FINAL FANTASY Tactics: War of Lions (PSP)
  • Final Fantasy (PSOne Classics)
  • Final Fantasy II (PSOne Classics)
  • FINAL FANTASY IV: Complete Collection (PSP)
  • Final Fantasy V (PSOne Classics)
  • Final Fantasy VI (PSOne Classics)
  • Final Fantasy VII (PSOne Classics)
  • Final Fantasy VIII (PSOne Classics)
  • Final Fantasy IX (PSOne Classics)

I’m planning to get Final Fantasy: Origins (Final Fantasy I and II,) Dissidia, Dissidia 012 and Dissidia Duodecim Prologus. Sadly, the ones I won’t be able to pick up this time around are Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection, V and VI. On the other hand, the ones that I can wholeheartedly recommend are: Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions, Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy IX. What are you planning to buy?
