Quirky point-and-click adventure Machinarium is coming to the PlayStation Vita on March 26th, developer Amanita Design has confirmed. The puzzle-adventure originally came out on the PC (for Windows, Mac and Linux) and was later on released on the PlayStation 3. Now the developer has announced that the Vita version of Machinarium is coming to the portable console on March 26th for $6.99.
The Vita incorporates all the enhancements from the PS3 version, as well as some exclusive ones that make use of the portable’s unique capabilities. These include the ability to zoom, Trophies, online leaderboards and you can control the game via the touch screen and rear touch panel.
In Machinarium, you assume the role of a little robot called Josef who sets out to rescue his girlfriend. The girl was kidnapped by the Black Cap Brotherhood, three antagonists who are planning to destroy one of the city’s most emblematic places.
