As a way of celebrating Duke II’s 20th anniversary, Duke Nukem II is coming to iOS devices. 3D Realms and Interceptor Entertainment (the team behind the upcoming Rise of the Triad reboot) are working on an iOS version of the 1993 sidescroller.
Bear in mind that Duke Nukem II represents Duke’s humble beginnings, before all the three-dimensional action and the first-person shooting. Developed by Apogee Software, Duke Nukem II is traditional platformer divided into 4 chapters of 8 levels each.
The action game is coming out this April for $1.99 and it’ll include 32 levels, full touch screen support, new artwork and music, save/load functionality, replays and online leaderboards.
