When it launched, the PC version of turn-based strategy game Skulls of the Shogun required Windows 8. Luckily, developer 17-BIT announced that they will be releasing a Steam version of the game and having a PC with Windows 8 is no longer a requirement.
The game is coming out to Steam as Skulls of the Shogun: Bone-A-Fide Edition and apart from featuring the single-player and multiplayer campaigns from the original release, this version will also include six new maps and a new four-chapter epilogue. This episode has a new unit type called the Takuni, which has the ability to confuse enemies. A new developers’ commentary mode and a song by Mega Ran will be included in the Bone-A-Fide Edition as well.
The pre-order version of the game is now available on Steam at the discounted price of $11.99 and if you buy it now, you get access to the multiplayer beta. The retail version comes out this July.
