Now that the PC version of 2D parody fighting game Divekick has been approved on Steam, Iron Galaxy has announced a release date. The PlayStation and Steam versions of Divekick will launch on September 20th, Iron Galaxy has announced via Twitter. Thankfully, that’s not the only thing that these versions have in common, since they also share the same price: $9.99.
Overall, there aren’t many differences between the two versions, but it’s worth mentioning that the Steam version of the game features Big Picture Mode and Steamworks.
Divekick has a unique “less is more” approach, so in the game, players need to make use of one of two moves (dive or kick.) Although Divekick started as a parody of the fighting genre, the game is extremely intuitive and has an incredible amount of depth.
