Fez will receive a patch on Xbox Live Arcade, Politron founder Phil Fish said via Twitter.
When the Xbox 360 version of Fez came out, the game was marred by technical issues. So a few weeks later, a patch was released. Unfortunately, that patch made those technical issues even worse and some players started reporting that the patch had corrupted their save files. Soon after that, developer Politron stated that it wouldn’t release another patch because Microsoft charged hundreds of dollars to do so.
According to Phil Fish, the patch will take a few months, but it’ll definitely come out. Fez 2 is in development, but according to Fish, the sequel is not coming to Xbox 360 or Xbox One.
