As a way of celebrating its fifth anniversary, DRM-free digital distribution service GOG (formerly known as Good Old Games) has unveiled a charity bundle. The way in which the sale works is extremely simple: you choose a charity (WWF, Worldbuilders or Gaming for Good,) select three games you like, pay $5 or more and 100% of that money goes to charity.
It’s worth mentioning that developers are receiving nothing for their games and GOG is paying transaction fees, so none of the companies involved (except the charities, of course) are getting money out of this sale.
These are the ten titles that are part of the sale:
- Creatures: Village
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee
- The Whispered World
- Waking Mars
This promotion will end on Tuesday, November 12th.
