As far as I know, a lot of people are really looking forward to playing South Park: The Stick of Truth (and I’m definitely one of them.) Unfortunately, Ubisoft has announced that the role-playing game, which was expected to come out this December, will be available on March 4th, 2014.
Developed by Obsidian, The Stick of Truth has been delayed by publishers three times. Originally, the game was supposed to be published by THQ in March 2013. Ubisoft purchased the game as part of the THQ bankruptcy auction and delayed it until December 2013 and now the game has been delayed once again.
“We always wanted the game to feel like you’re actually in an episode of South Park. Getting the game up to the crappy standards of the show has been a real challenge and we’re excited to say it’s taken way longer than we thought it would.” Creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker told the Ubisoft Blog.
South Park: The Stick of Truth is coming to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on March 4th, 2014.
Ubisoft released a seven-minute long gameplay video which you can watch below.
