Although a PC port of Resident Evil 4 already exists, Capcom is working on another one. If you never had the chance to play Resident Evil 4 on the PC, you should know that that particular version was absolutely terrible. It had bugs, lacked mouse and keyboard controls, its visuals didn’t look so good and so on and so forth. As a way of making some extra money, the company is re-releasing Resident Evil 4 on the PC.
Resident Evil 4: Ultimate HD Edition is coming to Steam, Capcom has announced. Although you can pre-order it now, the game will launch on February 28th for $19,99 or €19.99, depending on where you live. It’s worth pointing out that Europe will also receive a retail release.
The upcoming $19.99 version of Resident Evil 4 will have high-definition visuals, Steam achievements, Cloud support, Steam Trading Cards, leaderboards, controller support and it’ll run at 60 frames per second. In terms of content, Resident Evil 4: Ultimate HD Edition will include Separate Ways, the exclusive chapter that was included in the PlayStation 2 version of the game.
