Minecraft Pocket Edition’s team is restructuring the game’s code to allow bigger worlds, they announced on the developer’s official blog. “We’re working on restructuring a lot of code to allow significantly bigger worlds in future updates,” the Minecraft team said.
On top of that, further updates will bring an updated AI, inventory “and a bunch of other things.” A proper release date for these updates hasn’t been confirmed, but at least we know that they are coming.
Minecraft Pocket Edition is available for Xperia Play, Android and iOS. Ever since its release, the handheld version of Minecraft has focused on some of the most important aspects of the sandbox indie game, such as crafting buildings and surviving enemies. Still, Pocket Edition lacks most of the features present in the PC version of Minecraft.
