Cooperative platformer BattleBlock Theater is finally coming to the PC, developer The Behemoth has announced. For the uninitiated, Battleblock Theater is The Behemoth’s third title, after Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers.
Originally released for the Xbox 360, BattleBlock Theater puts you in control of a prisoner who’s forced to play games. The main objective is to work together with another player to overcome obstacles. Levels are made of different types of blocks (sticky walls, falling blocks, spikes and so on) and you need to run, jump and attack your way through each level.
Interestingly, the Steam version of BattleBlock Theater will come with new features, such as weapon switching, new enemies, Steam Workshop integration, Steam Trading Cards, mouse and keyboard support and more.
In addition, from March 24th to April 31st, The Behemoth will be holding a closed beta for the PC version of the game. If are interested, you need to register to get a key. For more information, follow this link.
