There’s something undeniably dreadful about the ocean and naturally, that’s where upcoming survival horror game SOMA will be set. In the latest trailer (named Lambda) developer Frictional Games revealed that SOMA takes place at the bottom of the sea.
Regarding the new setting, Thomas Grip from Frictional Games said “The ocean is an alien world, and we’ve only scratched the surface. We feel it’s the perfect place to explore in a horror game.” Soon after the new trailer came out, people started comparing SOMA to the original BioShock and while they share some similarities, I think they are going to be completely different.
SOMA is coming out in early 2015 for PC and PlayStation 4.
